We are also a member of the organization FLICS (Film Liaisons in California Statewide). The Film Commissioner, Cassandra Hesseltine, is the immediate past president of FLICS as well as an Association of Film Commissioners International (AFCI) certified film commissioner.
FILM COMMISSIONER - Cassandra Hesseltine
Cassandra Hesseltine became the region's Film Commissioner in fall of 2010. Prior to taking on the role of Film Commissioner, Cassandra worked in film and theater. She is a graduate of Humboldt State University.
As the Film Commissioner, Cassandra is committed to supporting both out-of-town and local filmmakers while working to stimulate the local economy through production.
